Why a Recharge Alone Rarely Fixes It

Refrigerant doesn't get used up — if it's low, it leaked out somewhere. Topping off a leaking system buys you a few weeks of cold air, then you're warm again and the escaping refrigerant has done its damage to the environment and your wallet. Our process: recover and measure what's left, pressurize and find the leak with electronic detection and UV dye, fix the leak, then evacuate and recharge to exact factory specification. It costs more than a can from the parts store — and it actually stays cold.

What Fails Most in Gulf Coast Heat

In our climate, AC systems work nine months a year, and the failures follow a pattern: compressor clutches and seals wear from constant cycling, condensers corrode from humidity and road debris, and blend-door actuators fail from sheer use. The good news — most of these are one-visit repairs. Compressor replacement is the most common major AC job we do, and most can be completed mobile or same-day in-shop.

Warm Air Isn't Always the AC

A clogged cabin filter, a stuck blend door or a failing blower motor mimics AC failure and costs far less to fix. Our first step is always a full performance test — vent temperature, pressures on both sides, compressor engagement — so you pay for the actual problem, not the assumed one.
